The time has come to begin the third rewrite of my memoir. The manuscript has laid fallow for a month, so I will look at it with fresh eyes, correcting imperfections and doing my best to serve my readers. When it reaches print, it will be the best effort I can make at this stage of my writing life. Christine Webb has been kind enough to choose another  20 blog pieces from the past, but I shall be on the periphery to respond to comments people make.  The blog will become active again on Tuesday, December 12.    Given the politics of the day, it’s difficult to give up the bully pulpit, but I must.

In the meantime, if you have enjoyed my blogs but never read my fiction, please consider taking the plunge. The holidays are on the horizon, so you might consider adding a gift of an eBook for friend for less than $3.00.  Heart Land will provide a smile.  Gothic Spring will satisfy Jane Austen fans.  Trompe l’Oeil  ensnares the brave with intrigue and mystery. Ballet Noir is a paranormal chase through Europe.  A gift set of 4 will cost less than $12.00.  Having sampled a few of my blogs, I hope you’ve concluded I can put a subject and predicate together to make a decent sentence.

Please remember, you can also find me and my co-host Susan Stoner on Just Read It., our book discussion series on YouTube.   Consider becoming a subscriber.  It’s free and you can chime in with opinions of you own.  For now, however, it’s goodbye until December 12.

Thanks for including me on your list, Caroline. The blogs have extended our conversations and connected parts of my old and new lives with your written voice. I'll look forward to the memoire. John

If you weren't on my list I should feel poorer and devastated.

I have read every one of Caroline's fiction books and she certainly can put a sentence together while telling a great story. I strongly encourage one and all to buy, buy, buy. It is a great way to thank her for her blog's gift of enlightening and touching words.
